Capabilities

Koble6 delivers end-to-end engineering and manufacturing capability, from initial research and concept development through design, prototyping, testing, and production, enabling defense and aerospace programs to move from idea to fielded hardware without switching teams.

Our capabilities span advanced propulsion engineering, precision CNC machining, ceramic additive manufacturing, and systems integration, giving programs a single technically deep partner across the full development lifecycle.

CNC Machining

We provide precision CNC machining for aerospace and defense hardware, from one‑off prototype parts to low‑rate initial production. Using multi‑axis mills and lathes through trusted Maryland‑based machining partners, we hold tight tolerances in aluminum, steels, superalloys, and advanced materials, with an emphasis on repeatability, clean interfaces, and inspection‑ready features. These partners work directly from our model‑based definitions and controlled drawings to ensure every component fits, functions, and assembles as intended in mission‑critical systems.

End-to-End Propulsion Development

We engineer advanced propulsion systems from first‑principles thermodynamic cycle studies through detailed component design, fabrication support, and tested hardware, addressing inlet integration, turbomachinery performance, combustion stability, nozzle efficiency, and thermal control. Our capability spans the full development cycle, balancing thrust, efficiency, weight, and maintainability for platforms where reliability and performance leave no margin for compromise. From concept trades to final test, we focus on mechanically sound, thermally managed architectures that are straightforward to sustain in the field, reducing downtime and maximizing operational availability.

Additive Ceramic Manufacturing

We exploit ceramic additive manufacturing to consolidate multi‑piece assemblies into single, integrated components with internal channels, cavities, and mounting features, rapidly prototyping parts that will ultimately operate at temperatures exceeding 1000 °C. We account for shrinkage, support requirements, drainage, and firing behavior at the design stage so that complex internal features survive print, wash, and sintering, and the final parts align with aerospace and defense requirements for reliability, repeatability, and performance under extreme conditions.
